I like following up-to-date news about breaches, or anything related to cybersecurity. A great way of doing
that is RSS feeds.
Subscribing to emails from websites is also a way, but that results in a lot of notifications from gmail
daily, which is conterproductive. So, I compiled a list of Websites and their RSS feeds I follow.
For those who are not familiar with how to use RSS feeds:
- You can find the rss feed of a website at the same place where you find their social profile links. It
will be mostly seen as a symbol resembling a mirror image of Wi-Fi.
- After finding the rss feed, you should click on it(You will see some xml code). Copy the link which
appears in you address bar.
Tip:I also use google alerts to generate my own rss feed. You can find more about it here
- Now that you have the link, there are many apps which lets you use rss feed to provide news articles.
You can use apps like Flipboard etc. (Google for how to read rss feeds.)
I use Vivaldi browser, which has an inbuilt feature to add rss feeds.
Now we got this out of the way, I am providing some of the cybersecurity websites and their rss feed links I
follow.
